Annie Burns, RN, MS, ACNP, CS

Annie burns received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University in 1985. Then, she continued on to receive a Masters degree in Critical Care Nursing in 1993 and a Post-Masters Nurse Practitioner degree in 1996 from San Diego State University.

Annie has been in practice as a nurse since 1985 and as a nurse practitioner since 1996. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as both an Adult and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Her career began as a Nurse Practitioner caring for Interventional Cardiology patients at Washington Adventist Hospital. In August of 1998, she returned to San Diego and joined San Diego Cardiovascular Associates. Annie works predominately at Scripps Encinitas Hospital. She has published articles on Heart Failure and lectures on cardiac disease in the San Diego community.
