Dr. Marc Effron graduated from Stanford Medical School in 1978. His internship was at Peter Bent Brigham/Harvard in Boston, Massachusetts and his residency was at Stanford University Medical Center in 1981. His fellowship in Cardiology was also completed at Stanford University.

Dr. Effron has been in practice since 1983 and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He also holds the position of Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. In the field of Cardiology, Dr. Effron has special interests in echocardiolgraphy, cardiac catheterization, coronary angiography and coronary angioplasty/stents.
