Roy Avalos

Dr. Roy T. Avalos has extensive specialty training in nuclear medicine, echocardiography and cardiac diagnostic catheterization from UCLA.
Dr. Avalos received his specialty training from UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine where he also completed both his residency and internship. In 1997, Dr. Avalos received his MD and PhD from UCLA.
Dr. Avalos practices non-invasive cardiology, and emphasizes preventative measures in treating heart disease. On the forefront of technology in cardiovascular medicine, he uses the latest advances and techniques to provide earlier diagnosis and preventative treatment.
He has served as a guest lecturer and mentored high school students and pre-med students.
